Great read! New genre from the queen of contemporary Orthodox Jewish novels!

Barbara's writing is always of the highest caliber as well as engaging in style and substance. This light, but not light-hearted, mystery brings us into a family wedding that includes the various subcultures of Mizrahi communities across the globe. It's got her insights into family dynamics with surprising plot twists that echo the history and experiences of those communities. It's fun and different. I highly recommend.
